Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
On the Rose Tarlow—Melrose House site, Tarlow is described as a "nationally recognized antiquaire, furniture and fabric designer, and interior designer," whose reach we didn't know was so vast with her "furniture and fabrics...featured in fourteen additional satellite locations throughout the country." That's additional to her two Melrose Place showrooms. Turns out Tarlow is moving in spring or summer 2009 to the former Heritage Book Bindery space at 8540 Melrose Avenue, which looks to be a massive undertaking with plywood that nearly takes up the block. We barely caught a few snaps of the project in progress above. [RackeWire]
