We mentioned the boutiques shuttering on Montana Avenue, now for those yet to be opened. Williams-Sonoma has been coming for months now, and we got word from the Pasadena store (that's where you're supposed to send your resume for employment for the Montana Avenue outpost) that the new store is slated to open on October 25.
Heading west at 1318 Montana, we spotted the former Dan Marty Design space, which we learned from a tipster has been leased by Jonathan Adler.
Across the street, beauty brand Philosophy will be setting up shop.
And a bit west still, a construction worker outside a space with wood beam exterior slats told us it would be Ouidad salon, a brand which specializes in curly hair. And, indeed, the site confirms: "Ouidad is delighted to bring her exclusive curl cutting techniques and expertise to the West Coast with the opening of her Santa Monica salon."
