Tucked next to the Sharon Care Center and across the street from Little Next Door, French-infused Contessa S. Home is slated to open at 8159 West 3rd Street in October. Owner Kimberly Stanier has three shops already in San Luis Obispo—the original Contessa S. Home, Cala Antiques and Contessa S. Boutique. From the shop's site, describing its style as "rustic elegance," we can expect home accessories, antiques, items for the garden and plenty of pieces to curate a tabletop or make a bathroom counter pretty: "We love to use old natural pieces and mix them up with shiny silver, glass and glitter. Throw in a topiary and some vintage fabric and you have now created the perfect juxtaposition." [RackedWire]
