Apparently, boutique Trillionaire at 7123 Melrose Avenue, just west of La Brea, was not raking in enough dough. Per LAist: "If a store on Melrose called Trillionaire goes out of business, then no one is safe. Trillionaire carried Rubber Duck and other trendy shoe and clothing lines." With labels like Rubber Duck (actually quite affordable), we think Trillionaire might have been elevating itself unnecessarily (and unfortunately for them) at a time when people actually are buying less pricey goods. Tough times.
