LA-based label C&C California, which was recently bought by Perry Ellis International from Liz Claiborne Inc., is adding swimwear and cover-ups to the label for spring. Perry Ellis has already extended the brand by launching men's. WWD reports the collection will wholesale from $35-$65, "...ranging from caftans to dresses to bottoms," using "soft fabrics and feature colors, ombrés and tie-dyes reminiscent of the main C&C California T-shirt line." C&C's VP and General Manager, Stephen Cox, told the pub: “It takes you from the beach to your afternoon cocktail party in Malibu.”
