Housed in the former Tower Records on Sunset Strip, Live! On Sunset features a "media-focused shopping experience," according to the store's site. LA mag's Chic Leak blog goes into what that means and the backstory on owner Gerard Guez: "Guez plans to feature Webcasts from the store (about fashion and lifestyle, of course), with a host assisted by sales clerks outfitted with cameras." Also, "All of the merchandise is on racks and tables with wheels, so the interior of the store can be easily reconfigured. Even the dressing rooms are mobile." Sounds like a lot going on, perhaps too much.

But the blog points to the merchandise as the highlight here: "It carries all the L.A. brands Guez has an ownership or manufacturing stake in: Antik Denim, Seven7 Jeans, Nicholai, People’s Liberation, Da Nang, Joe’s, Kitson LA. Other merch includes Miu Miu and Tom Ford eyewear, Dylan's Candy Bar treats, vintage from The Way We Wore, Better Bacon tees, and UK brand Superdry.
