We're sure HarperCollins sees an incredibly budding literary talent in Lauren Conrad, and that's why they gave her a three-book deal for a young adult series. LC told People "It's definitely influenced by my own life...The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities." And we totally believe her when she says, "Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out." Come on, you know nicey-nice doesn't sell.
