So, you thought LA's music scene was mostly relegated to east side spots like The Whisky, Spaceland, The Troubadour and even The Guitar Center? That's, well, true, but it turns out that Santa Monica's independent music shop Truetone is actually extremely beloved by musicians from Aimee Mann to Beck.

This Thursday at 6pm, Gretsch Pres Fred W. Gretsch will be hosting Truetone's "Gretsch Night Out" to celebrate the company's 125th Birthday. Everyone gets a free gift, which we always like.
