The Green Life in Santa Monica opened a few weeks ago, but is gearing up for its grand opening this weekend, including organic wine and apps from Euphoria Rawvolution Friday night, starting at 4pm through closing at 8pm. The eco-minded lifestyle emporium delves into the everyday, rather than luxury categories with merch you've seen at Trader Joe's—Seventh Generation cleaning supplies, Tom's toothpaste. But there's also tons of environmentally-sound beauty and bath products, items for baby, the garden and pets.
Green LA Girl reports: "The Green Life’s inventory tends to be very practical and down to earth. In fact, the store’s arranged practically too, with items grouped by category. Eco-friendly doggie toys and collars are collected onto one table, while organic baby bibs and eco-friendly diapers get its own corner." The blog also found school supplies and an herb gardening kit, unfortunately, too big to cart home in a bike basket.
