Whole Foods at West 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue is working on an 11,127-square-foot expansion, which will be home to beer and wine sales and related tasting events. The work can now be seen from the interior of the store on the east side by the produce and fish market. The big black tarp/curtain clues you in. But it's not secured at all, making it easy to jump in and snap a few pics. The process is well along, with built-in shelving already installed. It looks like it could be complete rather quickly—a space which will be able to accommodate a lot more shoppers. The parking lot however is not getting any bigger and, like Yo! Venice! and its about-to-be-opened Whole Foods, we wonder what this will do to the already cramped lot quarters.
