In-Store Retail Find: Pluma Feather Headbands

New, 13 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Cali-bred, NYC-based designers Kathryn Zerem and Jessica Schwartzberg of Pluma create these handmade feathered headbands in different hues—a fan of browns, saturated purple, green, navy and more. Surprisingly well-priced at $48, the only thing that's been holding us back from ordering online is the whole potential vice-grip around your cranium thing, which makes headband purchases a must try-on. We just found out that Polkadots & Moonbeams on West 3rd Street has just gotten in a new shipment in-store (and online). The fact that the shop sold out of its first Pluma shipment in three hours is motivation to get over there pronto. [RackedWire]
