Another night of releases is coming up this Thursday, August 21 from 6pm-9pm at Fred Segal Santa Monica at 420 Broadway. We already mentioned the launch of 15 Minutes with Alternative Apparel and Matt Sohl. Add to that KZO fall '08 collection release party and buildout at the Hollywood Trading Company at Fred Segal, along with the debut of the John Varvatos shop-in-shop and you've got one mega shopping event. Material Interest gives us a sneak peek above and deets on the John Varvatos space:

"The 400-square-foot space will pack in the main line, footwear, and the John Varvatos USA Collection. And yes, it's a little bit rock 'n' roll—think black automotive-painted walls covered with vintage concert posters, washed-purple-velvet curtains, and an installation featuring 100 high-grade speakers...Rotating seasonal collections will feature signature leather and shearlings, cashmere sweaters, soft knit tees, and tuxedo jackets for dressier L.A. nights."
