Some time ago, we received the following query: "I have a question: is there going to be a record store opening in Silverlake? On the corner of Sunset and Lucile, an out of business furniture store is covered with a banner for Dangerbird Records, are they opening up a record store?" We emailed Dangerbird about the old Bungalow furniture space, but have yet to get a response. We did ask around the neighborhood and were told by shopkeepers that it was simply a promo for Silver Lake band Darker My Love's sophomore album 2. But everyone seemed to agree that the area could use a great record store. [RackedWire]
