S.A. Leather designer Ari Soffer has made a name for himself with his custom leather and jewelry, made from Italian leathers, sterling silver, diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. His clientele ranges from Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro to Jeremy Piven and Djimon Hounsou, and sells to LA institutions such as Theodore and H. Lorenzo. Soffer will be opening up his flagship boutique come fall south of Wilshire at 850 South Robertson Boulevard. It will be an appointment only affair, which coincides with the designer's expansion into the customization of even bigger ticket items—namely, the interiors of cars, planes and boats.
