We hear architect Ana Henton—whose work includes Silver Lake Wine, Lemonade, Breadbar—has an environmentally-minded market to add to her portfolio. Henton is "working on a new store to be open on Franklin near the Mayfair market in Beachwood Canyon. It's called Locali (pronounced locally) and it's tag line is Conscience Convenience." The "business plan is to create a 7-11 but all green, eco friendly, local produce and products (all within a certain mile radius) and environmentally conscience everyday products from toothpaste, condoms and soap to wine and local magazines." But you won't find an cigarettes here. Construction has just started. [Racked Inbox]
