We gave you a visual feast with LA designer and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist Juan Carlos Obando's recent collection, and today we offer up pieces from Irene Neuwith—also from LA and also a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist. When we first met Neuwirth years ago, she had just launched her first collection from a small apartment on the beach in Malibu. It was clear then that she was talented, but her pieces have become increasingly sophisticated and, not surprisingly, luxurious. Not that her line wasn't always of the Barneys jewelry case price point, but then it had a more fashion jewelry appeal, and now it is fine jewelry all the way. Color and an interesting mix of gemstones have played a consistent role in her creations, and we would gladly wear any one of them, or many of them all at once if we could.
