Launches & Releases: Presse Boutique Debuts Ecommerce

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Presse Boutique on La Brea Avenue has just extended its offerings to the masses, relaunching its site with ecommerce and really taking it to the next level. Co-owner Renee Roman Klein told Racked some months back that W was doing a story on their new online developments, so we knew something substantial was likely in the works. And this could really be a new favorite in terms on eboutiques, right up there with La Garçonne, though unique in content and aesthetics.

Along with apparel and accessories searchable by item or designer, there is a video interview with the designers of Bruce, lookbooks from Acne, Proenza Schouler and Sari Gueron, and a Presse Pass section, which isn't launched yet, but we definitely look forward to; this section will house content from Presse Pass, the mag the boutique created, its first edition for fall/winter '07, and plans to continue. This is what you get when former fashion editors—owners Klein and Zoe Schaeffer—get into retail, and we're all for it.
