Some combination of parking issues, traffic, retail downturn, or shoppers expectation of being even more catered to has resulted in local retailers offering curbside pickup services. Per the LA Times: "Sales people at Kiehl's, Jonathan Adler and Kitson will take a phone order and run your items out when you pull up to the door. It's the perfect solution for the rushed, road raged or just plain lazy." Next, perhaps sales staff can just throw it through your opened window while you drive by. [LAT]
