Furniture store Loft Appeal has opened its second Downtown outpost at the Barker Block. Per Angelenic, the 10,000-square-foot shop (connected to movie prop warehouse Reel Appeal) is open for business, though it will have its grand opening this Saturday, June 14. The blog describes the merch as catering to "loftees looking to fill their pads with unique (and inventive) pieces ranging from traditional to contemporary and industrial," noting that owner "Richard Reams also operates a booth at the weekly South Park Artisan Market, and is responsible for the classy new window displays seen at the RiteAID on 7th and Los Angeles." Wow, "classy" and "RiteAID" in the same sentence! Never seen that before.
