Victoria’s Secret and Chambord teamed up at Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso on Tuesday to launch new fragrance Heavenly Kiss. The cocktail waitresses, who looked like they could grace a VS catalog themselves, served up Chambord mixed drinks inspired by the fragrance. The guests who were willing to ignore the warning “it tastes like perfume” could seemingly only handle a few sips, which was evident by the mostly full cocktail glasses that were abandoned all over the bar. Supermodel Miranda Kerr (Orlando Bloom’s main squeeze) spent her afternoon promoting the new fragrance at The Grove and was spotted that evening spritzing herself with the vanilla and floral scented perfume in her private booth while party-goers crowded around to get a glimpse of the 25-year-old Australian beauty.
At the surrounding tables, Christina Milian, Brittany Gastineau, and Shane West munched on appetizers while Project Runway alum Nick Verreos and Rami Kashou sipped cocktails by the bar. But its safe to say Jeremy Piven’s arrival caused the biggest stir, even Kerr emerged from her booth to go say hello. At the end of the evening, guests were given a familiar Victoria’s Secret shopping bag, but they seemed a little disappointed to only find one bottle of the Heavenly Kiss and a pink Chambord tank top inside. But the A+ food and crowd made up for the C- cocktails and gift bags. [RackedWire]
