We've been meaning to get down to OCModern.net's showroom, down in Long Beach, which we envisioned gorgeously appointed with all that mid-century modern furniture—the fab credenzas, smartly-designed desks, restrained-but-lovely couches. Turns out, yes, we were on the right track. Per Apartment Therapy, "Joshua and his wife Laurie operate OC Modern out of their Long Beach home, using their ranch style house as the showroom. The house is packed with mid century modern finds at some pretty good prices. Some of the items might be gently used, and they prefer to leave things as is, but that means that you aren't paying for a piece that's had to be totally overhauled. They offer free delivery and honestly couldn't be nicer." For the full experience, we'll have to get to LB, but for the time being, check out some pics here or here for ample motivation.
