Sellebrity: Pharrell's Sitting Sexy, Usher Perfumes Babies, Kim Cattrall Licks Her Lips in SheerBliss

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

1) Pharrell: The hip-hop star seems to have a serious interest in design, having already done some interesting projects from sunglasses and jewelry for Louis Vuitton to Pepsi cans. From Design Notes, "His latest design work, a collaboration with Domeau & Pérès, is a chair that made me blush. The design premise was sweet (true love) but the result is anything but. Sexy, yes. Sweet, not quite. The chair and other designs, including a table, will debut at Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie on October 21." The readers of Apartment Therapy aren't terribly keen on the chair either. Would this be a living room or bedroom addition for you? [Design Notes]

2) Usher: Another one-namer for you. The pop R&B singer is already creating limited-edition fragrances, but he's also got pint-sized scent ambitions. Per WWD, inspired by his six-month-old son Usher Raymond V, he's working on "...a baby fragrance with his licensee, Liz Claiborne Cosmetics." No word on potential names for the baby perfume, but perhaps Usher junior's nicknames—Cinco or Rabbit? [WWD, subscription req]

3) Kim Cattrall: How many mouth close-ups will there be? Per PR Newswire, Cattrall is the new spokesperson for SheerBliss Ice Cream—the company's claim to fame being pomegranate ice cream, "made with 100% pure natural pomegranate juice, not a juice blend." Per the release: "Ms. Cattrall will be featured in a national advertising campaign in several magazines throughout the country including Gourmet, Bon Appetit and Vogue." [PR Newswire]
