Tattooed cashmere-patched denim coming to Melrose, just west of Fairfax. A&G, which started as a manufacturer and distributor or leather goods in 1989 by Moroccan-born Amal Guessous, has developed from "gothic-style sterling silver accessories" to his own line of leather goods to cashmere sweaters with tattoo designs and, most recently, denim. Per the A&G site, each jean is made out of "five pairs of vintage denim pants that are ripped and then reassembled in his design," some of which "feature cashmere patches with tattoo prints" and all "equipped with accessories, i.e. buttons, grommets, etc., from the A&G sterling silver collection." That's a lot of stuff going on for one pair of jeans.
