Custom furniture showroom Bamboo Colony on Beverly Boulevard is closing, as indicated by the going out of business sale and "for lease" sign. Per the site, the "design studio specializes in wood, upholstery, stainless steel, iron and acrylic work—meticulously hand-crafted by local artisans for the the discerning, yet budget conscious, upscale buyer." We're thinking there must be some bamboo thrown in there somewhere. The tough retail market also recently hit furniture shop Silho on La Brea. [RackedWire]
