Designer Trina Turk has been mentoring students at the Otis College of Art & Design for sometime now—she's had at least four runs at it—and the latest results of that relationship is in her West 3rd Street boutique windows. Per the Los Angeles Times: "The junior and senior class-created outfits are fresh off the college's annual fashion show gala runway. The highlight is a series of 15 L.A. skyline-inspired dresses that came out of an assignment from Trina Turk..." Evil Monito notes the just-graduated Kristen Friedlander was the "recipient of the outstanding student award" for the project. [RackedWire]
