Since Stila has already been doing the makeup for Marchesa's four last ready-to-wear shows, a Marchesa collection by the cosmetics company is a natural next step. Per Women's Wear Daily, The Backstage Beauty Collection, to retail for $40, "includes three palettes, each with one matte and two shimmery eye shadow shades and an eyeliner. The Front Row Look is a black-patent palette with a smoky quartz eyeliner; The Red Carpet Look is a red-patent palette with an onyx eyeliner, and The Runway Look is a pewter-patent palette with an onyx eyeliner." Along with the palettes, "fake leather rosettes that can be reused as necklaces or bracelets" are included. The limited-edition collection will be available in August (through October) in-store and online at Sephora and via stilacostmetics.com.
Added to the permanent Stila lineup are "lipstick shades named for Chapman (a sheer red), Craig (a nude shade) and Shobrook (a rich berry color)," which will retail for $22 and are named after Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig and makeup artist in charge of the fashion shows Talia Shobrook.
