Aussie footwear collection Ugg (just in case you really tried to put the ubiquitous boots out of your mind), has enlisted LA-based designer Rozae Nichols to design an outerwear collection for the brand. Per WWD, the fall '08 14-piece collection "ranges from $595 for a suede hooded pullover to $2,300 for a long shearling coat." Also, expect "utilitarian chic pieces, including a reversible cropped shearling jacket, $995; reversible shearling vest with horn toggle closure, $1,300, and a shearling-lined glazed suede bomber jacket with antique zippers, $895." Nichols would also like to design handbags for Ugg for spring or fall '09. [WWD, subscription req]
