Window Shopping: Machete Heads at J. Lindeberg

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Mixed feeling here on the demi-heads in the J. Lindeberg windows at the Beverly Center—which creates a disturbed-yet-intrigued, can't-stop-staring effect. The boutique's been in the shopping center for three years, but a salesperson told Racked that many people have missed the shop altogether due to escalator construction. Would be easy to chalk it up to laziness, but walking up all those stairs was a complete drag. Enough to forgo the entire excursion, let alone walk to the other end. Sliced noggins are no doubt an attention grabber, especially while listlessly roaming the mall. [RackedWire]
