It's a Jungle Out there: A Bathing Ape Opens Today, Lines Since Wedensday!

Japanese streetwear store A Bathing Ape opens today at noon, and the frenzy has begun. From the Melrose store, our Racked correspondent reports: "The line is super long. Around 10:15 the staff went down the line with numbered tickets in a basket and had customers draw for first entry, which is actually really unfair to the kids at the front of the line. One said to me 'I've been camped out here since Wednesday and I'm number 32.' They heard rumors that there is some gear exclusive to the LA store and they want first dibs."
