From Coach to Conair, the Kor Hotel Group to La Mer and Soft & Dri, the pink ribbon in support of breast cancer research, the survivors and those fighting, has been wielded in drugstores and designer boutiques alike. It's been branded well, and has generally signaled some sort of quality. But these plastic-looking $3.99 air fresheners at CVS are raining on the pink parade.
