Shrouded in darkness—literally, it was really dark in there—Romp boutique, which has made much of its sustainable luxe leather in press releases, opened last night with a party and edibles from The Little Door. It was so dim, in fact, we can see the merch better in the pics we took than while we were actually there. We can tell you we were partial to the fringed heels and the leather was incredibly soft to the touch; we weren't partial to the splayed mannequins, which were oddly hard to differentiate from the live models. Look through the images and see if you don't do a double take. We were also told from PR that some rock-star types were interested in getting Romp gear. We'll tell you what we told them: we gotta go back during the daylight for a proper inspection.
