It's always odd when an inanimate object, like a building, or in this case, a mall, has a blog. Curbed LA reports that Americana at Brand—the mixed-use development in Glendale opening May 2—has done just that: "The 'About Me' part of the blog lists the name Casey Sayre & Williams, a marketing firm, so it would seem they are writing the site." As such, it's a blogertisement for retail and restaurants, which is slightly (OK, very mildly) entertaining for about two seconds. Take a post entitled "Say Cheese!":
"Cake, that is! The Cheesecake Factory is nearly ready to wine and dine you as the staff puts the finishing touches around everyone's favorite eatery. The bar is stocked, the waiters are dressed and ready to serve... all that's missing here is you!"
Though, that's probably about all the cheese anyone can take.
