BEVERLY HILLS— Glitzy handbag purveyor Shizue (pictured) opens at 9627 Brighton Way today, per California Apparel News, just down the way from recently replanted Robert Clergerie shoes.
ABBOT KINNEY— From the same article, the fashion trade reports that in addition to Steven Alan's newly-minted Robertson Boulevard boutique, and boutique at the Brentwood Gardens, the NYC-based label with be opening a Steven Alan Annex at 1601 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in May, which "will offer Steven Alan, as well as labels Tretorn, The Generic Man, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Common Projects, EngineeredGarments and United Bamboo."
ROBERTSON— Also, in the fashion trade's retail round-up, is NYC-based designer and label Phillip Lim, who "will open a 5,000-square-foot 3.1 Phillip Lim store at 631 N. Robertson Blvd. by July." The shop will be located north of the Robertson retail frenzy, between Melrose and Santa Monica, and become neighbors with H. Lorenzo's eco-boutique HLNR, opening this month.
