LA retailer Lisa Kline is being honored with the Fashion for Life 2008 Award for her support of local designers. Per Fashion Week Daily, "The event, which will take place on May 18th at Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills, will benefit Friendly House, an alcohol and drug recovery organization. Amber Valletta and Paige Adams-Gellar of Paige Denim, who was the 2006 recipient of the award, are honorary co-chairs. Lisa Rinna will serve as the emcee for the afternoon." The festivities will include a fashion show and silent auction for those that want to cough up $75 for the tickets. [FWD]
