Paris-based eveningwear line Farah Angsana showed for the first time at LA Fashion Week, hoping to nab some celeb clientele to take her "Goya's Tango" collection to the red carpet. Contenders include an emerald silk jersey corseted gown, a plunge back black dress with silk tie, and a couple of strapless tulle above-the-knee options.

Monarchy presented one of the few true fall collections for men and women that put a premium on denim and layers, well-constructed wool and leather outerwear, and an array of capes and ponchos worn belted for women.

The layers were shed for Ashley Paige, whose collection of Art Deco-inspired "Couture Evening Bikinis" were the personification of pre-coital boudoir dressing, all lace, silk, beads, feathers and skin. The lacy, platform fuck-me pumps were also a nice touch. On the runway, George Clooney's latest squeeze, Vegas waitress-turned-model Sarah Larson, made an appearance.
