Silk, animal prints, feathers and beads, oh my! Indian label Falguni & Shane Peacock sent out a cavalcade of colorful, drape-y silk cocktail and evening dresses - a swirl of zebras, owls, leopards and beetles, embellished with beads, sequins and feathers. Clearly a fan, Apollonia Kotera, of Purple Rain-Lake Minnetonka-"Sex Shooter" fame, was in the front row rocking a flank-baring floor-length number.

Bow & Arrow designer Alan del Rosario - who also has an eponymous collection of eveningwear - went for a Frenchified mod look for fall '08, showing mini dresses, skirts and shrunken blazers in black and white with pops of nearly-neon fuchsia. Contrast piping, a single tier or stripe of white or black kept the youthful collection interesting.
