Fashion event? Cue video installation. This time it was Alia Raza's White Drugs, featuring Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, the infamously weed-smoking socialite Arden Wohl, British band Bat for Lashes and fashion house heir Margherita Missoni at the Wren fall/winter '08 preview at contemporary art gallery Taylor De Cordoba. The clothes, of course, were featured in the film as well, along with on models that posed along the outskirts of the packed gallery. Urban chic separates and dresses in black, gray, emerald and sapphire made for a paired down upmarket loo that was very wearable and modern. LA-based shoes and accessories label LD Tuttle completed the about-town-city-girl effect with geometric, laced-up heels and booties.
