At Smashbox: Pussycat Dolls Makeup

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

With a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week line-up that includes reality starlet Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton and the Pussycat Dolls, no one should be surprised that even the makeup collaborations would hit an all-time Hollywood-ed out low. Last season, Smashbox worked with LA label Petro Zillia (notably, not showing this season) to create a limited edition cosmetics collection; this season Smashbox has teamed up with the Pussycat Dolls to create lip gloss ($18), blush ($28) and eye shadow ($28) sold online through Smashbox and in-store at Sephora. Wait, and why don't people take LA Fashion Week seriously?
