She's all grown up! Ever since LA designer Maxine Dillon, switched from her Figmint line to her eponymous Maxine Dillon label for spring '08, her collection has become increasingly refined with a better fit, her silhouettes forward but wearable and a sexiness achieved through drape and design rather than revealing too much.
In conjunction with the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, boutique Aero & Co hosted a trunk show, featuring Dillon's spring '08 and fall '08 collections. Whisper-y dresses and blouses in milky blue, navy and khaki are complemented by more structured shorts for spring and outerwear and pants for fall. Nice details include uniquely placed pockets on dresses and buttons that run along the outer seam of pants. Dillon told Racked LA she was particularly happy with the press turnout.
