Above the Fray: Carolina Herrera Brings Out the Brides Through Saturday

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We find out from Fashion Rules! (which has offices on Melrose Place), that starting at 8:30am, future-marrieds lined up for the Carolina Herrera bridal sale. "there were lines down Melrose Place just east of LaCienega queuing up in front of the Carolina Herrera store...[for] Mrs. Herrera’s amazing and intricately designed gowns, loaded with tulle, pearls, ruffles hand sewn lace, etc. can run in the neighborhood of $3,000.00-$6,000.00 on average..."

The gowns are marked down to 35%, 50% and 75%, and the good news is the sale is going on until 6pm today and then from 10am-6pm, tomorrow, Saturday, December 6 (8441 Melrose Place). Sales staff underscored: "It's first come, first serve, so you better come soon."
