The holiday shopping parties are revving up around the city, filled with promises of merriment and good deals. And though holly is great and all, it's clear that retailers are hoping you'll deck the halls with new merch. We'll let you know about those of interest, and even if your pocketbook is not exactly overflowing, you can at least grab some spiked punch along the way.
Space 15 Twenty feted the Samantha Pleet pop-up at Urban Outfitters, but apparently, the new UO concept shopping center was only getting the party started. This Saturday, December 6, from 8pm-11pm (1520 North Cahuenga Boulevard), there will be a grand opening party for its collection of shops (plus one eatery)—Alife, Gallery Space, Hennessey + Ingalls, Snack Bar, We the Free, What Comes Around Goes Around, and Urban Outfitters.
The night will feature LA Eats, Hit + Run screenprinting, Heartschallenger treats, Dublab Soundsystem DJs (Jimmy Tamborello, Chico Sonido and Kutmah) and a special performance by Chairlift. Note it's a 21+ only event. Must RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
