Since fashion shows are often invite-only affairs, it's a nice change of pace when the public is invited to check out the runway and potentially see what's on the cusp. Student designers from The Art Institute of California—Hollywood are showcasing eco-minded collections at 'Think Green' tonight (that's Wednesday, December 3) at 9pm at Cicada restaurant at 617 South Olive Street, Downtown.

Admission is $10, but you can get in free if you bring a wearable piece of clothing to be donated to Goodwill. Proceeds from the event benefit the Miguel Rocha Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, a former student who was the casualty of a drunk hit-and-run incident this year. [RackedWire]
