The holiday shopping parties are revving up around the city, filled with promises of merriment and good deals. And though holly is great and all, it's clear that retailers are hoping you'll deck the halls with new merch. We'll let you know about those of interest, and even if your pocketbook is not exactly overflowing, you can at least grab some spiked punch along the way.

West 3rd Street may be shopping its blocks Thursday, December 4, but Beverly Boulevard hopes to bring people out to its boutiques, restaurant, and salons this Sunday, December 7 from 1pm-5pm, stretching from Pan Pacific Park to La Brea. The inaugural holiday event put on by the Beverly Boulevard Business Association—with participants such as Calleen Cordero (40% off store-wide), Suss Design (marking select merch at 50% off), Diane Merrick, Parisa & Co, Modernica, Terroni, Milk, Grace Restaurant, Cobras & Matadors and many others—will offer up free services, steep discounts, food, drink and (unspecified) entertainment.
Danny L. from participating Studio DNA Salon & Retail posted on Yelp that a portion of the proceeds benefit the Saban Free Clinic of Los Angeles, and to look for silver mylar ribbons in participating businesses along with an event poster. [RackedWire]
