Originally set to launch December 15, Virgin Australia has announced that its direct trans-Pacific flight between LAX to Sydney will now launch February 27, 2009. The schedule will start with three weekly flights and will increase to daily on March 21. The airline will also launch a direct LAX to Brisbane flight on April 8. Per the release, Virgin has renovated Terminal 3, now designed with the 'Virgin flair.' [RackedWire]
