We just got wind of men's and women's vintage denim-inspired concept shop Miner49er in San Clemente, deep in Orange County, which opened November 15 and sounds ripe for denim heads. Housed in an exposed beam 1920's building, the shop carries premium selvage denim from Cali-based label Denim Design Lab and Montreal-based Bzen, along with vintage-inspired T-shirts and books. With a modern fit, the focus here is on work wear styles, woven on vintage looms.

There's also a denim museum in-store, showcasing artifacts and history dating back to the California Gold Rush in the mid-1800s. [RackedWire]
