NYC designer Elise Overland hosted an event at Arcade Boutique last night to give clients a preview (and pre-order opp) of her spring '09 collection, as well as access to rare samples from her line.

FWD was there and reports the event brought out a number of stylists—Lee Harris pulled an "embellished black sheath dress for Drew Barrymore"; Becks Welch had her eye out for client Isla Fisher to "take some risks on the red carpet."

Nicky Hilton was also in attendance, and was doing some shopping herself, a python mini skirt and was "thinking about ordering the leather leggings." Hilton told the fashion pub: "I love the clothes...it's gothic in a tasteful, subtle way. Not overdone."

And what was flying off the shelves that night? Those leather leggings Hilton was pondering, price tag, $1,400. Overland's leggings from fall/winter '08 shown left.
