Kira Plastinina on Robertson Boulevard

Sixteen-year-old Russian fashion designer Kira Plastinina (with millionaire father Sergei Plastinin as support) opened a slew of U.S. shops this year, including NYC and LA locations (Robertson Boulevard, Beverly Center, Americana at Brand, 3rd Street Promenade, Beverly Drive, Topanga), and now is having to scale back significantly.

Per FWD, "Although she currently operates 12 stores in the States, Bloomberg.com reports today that the company has plans to close nearly all of them...only one or two U.S. outlets will remain open..." There isn't any indication which stores will stay open, but we can't imagine more than one in the LA area, if any.

The pub notes that Plastinina has 70 shops in Russia, 10 in Ukraine and five in Kazakhstan, which cost her father $80 million to open.
