Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Furniture, lighting, mirror and objet studio and store Blackman Cruz left its space on La Cienega some months ago, and has now popped up again on Highland Avenue, not far from recently-opened furniture store NK Interiors, and also, per Fashion Rules! "in the midst of the offices of Wire Image, a lot of photo houses, and the restaurants Ammo and Mozza Boulevard."
The blog was at the opening, filled to fire martial capacity with creative photo, mag and TV types and lots of decorators. Among "David Cruz’s rare collectibles from all over the world" there were "incredible tables, chairs and fixtures that appear in a ton of movies, tv shows, and in the best houses in town."
