Photos via WWD: a look from Jil Sander men's; a Brooks Brothers' sketch for a look for President-elect Obama's Inauguration festivities
News came that men's fashion trade DNR would be folded into WWD late last month, and now we get an email blast from the women's fashion trade that its WWDMen's section has launched:
"WWD and WWD.com will incorporate comprehensive, up-to-the-minute coverage of Men's fashion and retail news in both print (WWDMen's) and online (WWDMens.com). Today WWDMen's kicks-off menswear coverage with Presidential Style! Top designers provide cutting-edge insider's fashion and style guidance to President-elect Barack Obama. This is an exclusive WWDMen's fashion event you will not want to miss at WWDMens.com."
Which we covered this morning. Other men's coverage includes a paragraph about Jil Sander Creative Director Raf Simons doing premium denim for men and Under Armour adding more apparel for spring, among a handful of other stories. [RackedWire]
