We stopped by The Reformation grand opening party last night to shop reconstructed gems by Yael Aflalo and Chi Bui. The store is merchandised by color, with the bright pink and purple garments complementing the Kill Pixie wall art, while the neutral and earthy printed pieces are hung by photographer Curtis Kulig’s Polaroid wall.
There were plenty of racer back tanks and flowy blouses priced under a hundred dollars, and the highest ticketed item we spotted was a $305 fur jacket. Both lovely and thoughtful, the fitting room lounge was admired by shoppers as they sipped cocktails and oohed and aahed over the racks of recycled women’s vintage.
